Associate Director of Admissions for Communications

Bridgewater College is seeking an Associate Director of Admissions for Communications. The Associate Director position will work to support the development, implementation, and execution of all admissions marketing and communications. This position will serve as a primary liaison to the College's marketing and communications team and oversee print and digital communication for prospective students, families, and other College partners. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, this position will be an integral member of the admissions leadership team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the ADAC collaborates with multiple staff on campus to develop and execute a proactive, engaging, and integrated communications plan that spans the recruitment cycle for multiple recruitment classes.

  • Creates and maintains Slate Deliver templates, query populations, content blocks, and logic for all messages; supports management of drip marketing campaigns and populations for segmented communication that targets all phases of the admissions funnel.
  • Ensures all messages meet the College’s brand and messaging standards and supports institutional and enrollment goals.
  • Manages the Admissions Office’s social media accounts.
  • Uses data to evaluate effectiveness of communications efforts and makes data-driven decisions to strategically adjust and optimize communications to maximize effectiveness.
  • Serves as primary liaison to the Office of Communications and Marketing, meeting regularly to ensure communication projects are effective and on schedule for delivery.
  • Performs complex duties at a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Takes the lead in reviewing all vendor communications to ensure messaging is accurately reflecting the College.
  • Manages a team of students that aid in outreach.
  • Maintains a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure that information is accurate and timely.
  • Exhibits advanced communication skills that allow for both excellent written and oral communication.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision and produces results.
  • Engages comfortably and productively with people of different backgrounds, professions, and ages.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English/Communications or related field is required.
  • 3+ years of experience preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping timelines.
  • Prior experience managing people.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across multiple platforms.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Proven strength in marketing.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and social media; experience with Technolutions Slate.
