In addition, the School of Social Work just received a $5.68 million child welfare training grant for the state of Nevada and continues to provide integrated behavioral health training to our MSW students via the HRSA Behavioral Workforce Grant. The UNLV student body is one of the most diverse in the country as is our social work faculty. A Candidate who is hired will also be in on the development of new doctoral and online MSW programing. Also, the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs where social work is housed, offers many interprofessional collaboration opportunities in interpersonal violence and child welfare.
