Description:

A post-doctoral position is available immediately in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology at Tulane University to investigate diarrheal disease vaccines and adjuvants. This project is newly funded by the NIH and uses a collaborative approach to evaluate immunity to enterotoxigenic E. coli vaccine in recent clinical trials, predictors of immune function, and identification of underlying mechanisms driving vaccine efficacy/immunogenicity. The ideal candidate will have experience in human or mouse immunology, infectious disease, or biostatistics. The successful candidate will be mentored toward research independence in his/her chosen area of specialization. Review of applications will begin immediately.


Qualifications:

Ph.D. and research experience in the areas of biochemistry, microbiology, immunology or biostatistics.
