Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit:Center for Youth, Family, and Community Partnerships (CYFCP) builds the capacity of families, service providers, researchers, teachers, and communities to promote the well-being of children and youth. In partnership with colleagues from across the university and the community, the center carries out basic, applied, and action research; translates research into effective programs and practice; infuses community perspectives into university research and teaching; facilitates strategic problem-solving processes; and promotes programs, practices, and policies that yield positive outcomes for children and their families.
Position Summary:This position will support software used in the High Fidelity Wraparound Training Program to work with UNCG and their partners around the state to provide data system development and reporting. The position requires analytical and/or programming capabilities, determining system operations requirements, knowledge and skills for developing and/or maintaining computer applications/systems, and providing support services to meet cross system programming needs. This position is 100% grant-funded and based at UNCG.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in information sciences, statistics, or relevant field. Minimum of three years of experience in all aspects of data management and analysis, including database creation, database programming, statistical programming, and quality assurance procedures. Proficiency in SQL, and front end development. Have prior work experience with assisting non-technically trained individuals in creating, maintaining, and/or using electronic databases. Exposure to a variety of programming languages and development techniques and proficiency in SPSS and SAS. Experience developing interactive dashboards. Applicants should outline relevant experiences in their cover letter.
Previous work with community-based partners such as behavioral health providers, juvenile justice personnel, child welfare personnel, manage care organizations on projects/tasks involving behavioral systems data and data systems programing. Knowledge and experience with iDashboards, RedCap.

Key Responsibility:Dashboard Development and Maintenance
Essential Tasks:Develop interactive data dashboards using third-party software for county and provider partners to access their own data in real-time and with data security protocols in place. Provide programming and maintenance of databases using Microsoft SQL Server and Develop web-based data entry forms for various evaluation and training/coaching contracts.
Assist in the development and testing of new assessment procedures, streamlining existing procedures for improved efficiency, and data reports.

Essential Tasks:Communicate effectively with evaluation, clinical, and administrative staff to maintain efficient coordination and consistency regarding data gathering, data entry, and data reporting. Work with the UNCG Training and Coaching teams to develop and maintain database tables, data-entry capabilities, and dashboards/reports to streamline reporting procedures.

Essential Tasks:Oversee data exchange from county or state provider organizations and merge data into existing tables. Be available for travel for in-person training/support for system operation and evaluation activities. Develop and implement training for county and state providers around data collection, evaluation requirements for grants, and data-driven decision making.
