The School of Nursing at the University of Virginia and the College at Wise are seeking applicants for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Nursing, General Faculty (9-month, full time with potential summer option). This new position will be based at the University of Virginia’s College at Wise with periodic travel to the Charlottesville campus and will involve teaching in the UVA MSN/FNP program. The initial appointment will be to the Charlottesville-based faculty until such time as the College at Wise assumes full responsibility for the program.

A PhD or DNP in nursing, licensure in Virginia, 5 years of clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and FNP certification are required. Virginia License must be obtained before the start of the position. Academic teaching experience is highly desired.
Salary and faculty rank are commensurate with education and experience.
