MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ph.D. in theoretical physics, chemistry, or related fields
- A track record of original contributions to the field of AMO physics
- Strong analytical and programming skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- A primary interest in pursuing a career in research
- Experience in ultrafast intense laser-atom/molecule interactions
- Experience in molecular photoionization
- Experience with ab initio electronic-structure quantum chemistry packages (such as Gamess, Molpro, Gaussian).
This position includes a competitive salary of $53,760 and benefits. The initial one-year appointment will begin on or after November 5, 2021. The position is renewable, depending on performance and funding.
