Monday – Friday. Hours may be flexed around core hours of 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Primary Purpose of Position:

This position provides administrative support to the Employee Relations and AA/EOE Compliance functions. Responsibilities include maintaining and reconciling budget, personnel, and disciplinary files, assisting with the collection of affirmative action/demographic data, assisting with special projects, and assisting visitors and callers by providing information, directing them to appropriate resources, etc.

Minimum Education/Experience:

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education
and experience.

University Preferred Qualifications:

Graduation from high school and demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through three years of specialized office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Job Duties:

Assisting employees and visitors by providing information and/or referring them to appropriate staff. Maintaining data and documents and utilizing appropriate software (NinerTalent, ImageNow, PeopleClick, 49erMart, Banner, etc.). Reconciling and monitoring budget. Preparing and processing purchase orders. Managing the Exit Interview process. Assisting with other special projects which may involve developing methods to collect, organize and present data.

Other Work Responsibilities:

Ordering supplies. Placing and following up on work orders. Preparing mail for pick up. Delivering and/or collecting documents from other parts of campus.

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:

Experience in a human resources office with responsibility for maintaining sensitive and confidential information. Knowledge of Excel and experience with maintaining and reconciling budgets. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
