Minimum Experience/Education:

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education::

· Bachelor’s degree.
· Ability to interact with students, faculty, and university staff effectively.
· Ability to work well in a team environment.
· Able to multi-task.
· Strong computer and software skills, including knowledge of MS Office Suite and Google Suite.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Exceptional organizational skills.
· Prior administrative assistant, compliance or laboratory experience is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provides administrative support for the Research Protections and Integrity Programs (e.g., Human Subjects Protection Program (HSPP), Conflict of Interest (COI), and Research Misconduct).· Assist the compliance committee businesses and processes.· Provides support to Niner Research system. · Manage training compliance for Research Misconduct.· Acts as one of the organizational resources for research protections.· Respond to inquiries regarding research protections.· Assists with research protections meetings and logistics.· Provides administrative support for the office function and complete special projects and assignment as needed.· Track training records and notify students, faculty, and staff as needed.· Data entry into various systems (i.e., Excel and online electronic system).Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Work/Responsibilities:

Other duties include but are not limited to meetings with various groups within the Office of Research Protections and Integrity.
