Job Responsibilities

Safety resource and safety marshal for the campus. Complete and maintain CPR training. Be observant at all times of who is on campus, including the parking lots. Monitor weather alert radio, PTC email and notify Campus of impending severe weather. Student safety is priority. Provide feedback on a routine bases to PTC Officers.
Help register students for classes and answer their questions or provide contact information. First resource to trouble shoot student issues with Pathway and D2L. Access to Banner to look up student P numbers. Maintain schedule knowledge of Credit and CE classes at LCAM. Aware of and abide by FERPA requirements.
Front desk coverage, answer phones, schedule rooms, answer student questions, relay messages to instructors, arrange catering, sign for deliveries. Provide support (making copies, contacting students, ordering campus supplies…) for instructors and the Director. Work with LCDC and local Companies to schedule special requests and meeting rooms. Unlock and Lock campus, including the rear gate and ensure all lights and equipment are off.
Assist PTC President when working at LCAM. Assist the Director with classes in D2L by answering LCAM@ptc.edu email and providing feedback to students by uploading answers to D2L. Access to Director’s schedule so questions may be answered in the Director’s absence.
Ensure campus is maintained and provide timely feedback to Facility Maintenance and I.T (work tickets). Follow up with Housekeeping to ensure campus is maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Provide feedback to housekeeping contractor.
First resource for trouble shooting campus computers and AV.
Arrange campus classrooms for special events and training.
Proctor tests and act as monitor when the instructor is unexpectedly
absent.
Maintain LCAM social media pages.
Act as the Director when the Director is off campus.


Minimum and Additional Requirements

Customer service experience, telephone, email and in person - maintaining calm under stress
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of maintaining social media pages

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications are:
Prior safety responsibility
Prior experience working with students in secondary education
Prior experience as an office administrator or manager
Working Knowledge of Google Drive, PTC applications Banner and D2L, Microsoft Office and ADOBE READER
Experience troubleshooting computers and AV.
