Position Emphasis:The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine has a faculty position available for a Procurement Surgeon at the rank of Assistant Professor. The cardiothoracic surgery service at University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) is a high volume, high acuity service, providing tertiary level care across the entire spectrum of cardiothoracic surgery. Procurement of Heart and Lungs for patient transplantation will be the focus of this position. Evaluate organs for recovery and increase volume of procurements throughout the year.Salary and Benefits:The salary range for this position has been established at $185,000 - $300,000. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
