Job Description SummaryMontgomery College (Maryland) invites applications for the Organizational Development and Human Resources Outreach Manager position.

Montgomery College’s Office of Human Resources Strategic and Talent Management has an opportunity for an experienced Organizational Development and Human Resources Outreach Manager to oversee the development, design and facilitation of change management initiatives. The incumbent will be responsible for implementation of HR-related programs to support the college’s strategic intention to be a high performing organization, fostering a culture that values learning, continuous improvement, civility, social justice and inclusion.

This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing and administering organizational (OD) and talent management programs at all levels and divisions of the college.

Job Description

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Work collaboratively with College, HR and professional development leadership to identify organizational needs, define, develop and implement College training development programs and activities to support a systemic approach to talent management and succession planning.
  • Conduct and contribute research, analysis and ideas to the development of the College's strategy in order to ensure that organizational change and improvement initiatives are appropriately integrated and aligned with the institution's strategic and operational goals.
  • Design, develop and deliver annual programs for OD and HR-related training and development needs (e.g., performance management, collective-bargaining agreements, HR policies, procedures and processes, etc.)
  • Coordinate and manage performance management programs and services, including onboarding and orientation; performance feedback and evaluation; training, coaching and mentoring; individual and unit continuous improvement and career development.
  • Directly supervise OD Project Coordinator (HR Specialist II) and HR Internal Consultants (HR business partners).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience, including supervisory, in assessing, designing, developing, and delivering organizational development programs, services, or activities. (An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training is acceptable to meet the experience requirement.)
  • Eligible applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States and not require employer visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD)
  • Organizational Development experience in a higher educational institution.
  • Experience leading change management efforts in a medium or large organization.

Initial salary placement $78,208 to 107,536 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
