Responsibilities and Duties
Plan, write and curate strategic, on-brand messaging for the college through multimedia channels; Review and edit all written communications from the college before production and/or distribution; Manage the college's internal and external-facing media, including website, blog, social media accounts, magazine, promotional materials, press releases, presentations, speeches and more; Coordinate and manage the college's external ranking initiatives, including US News and World Report, Poets & Quants and others; Conceptualize and design printed and digital materials using Adobe CC Suite, including flyers and brochures, annual reports, presentations, proposals, handbooks, environmental signage and displays. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with on-campus and business community partners, including the CBE Advisory Board, Young Alumni Advisory Council, and alumni.



Qualifications and Skills

Successful candidates will have...

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience creating, managing and assessing social media content
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize and manage multiple projects as well as setting and meeting deadlines

Preferences:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in writing for news media, speech writing, advertising, public relations, direct marketing for higher education
  • Experience designing printed and digital materials using Adobe CC Suite
