This position will provide anatomy related instruction for CAHS students within the departments of Medical Illustration, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant. Instruction consists of synchronous didactic lectures and human cadaver dissection lab instruction. The incumbent for this position will also advise, counsel and remediate students as needed. This position will be responsible for course development when applicable as well as creation of student learning outcomes. The incumbent will also provide effective leadership for the anatomy unit; Manage and provide oversight of the anatomy curriculum and budget; identify teaching equipment, supplies and books as needed; recruit and hire anatomy faculty and instructional assistants (IAs) to adequately support and maintain anatomy instruction for the entire college; maintain and submit other university required reports; supervise anatomy instructors and complete annual performance evaluations; attend meetings and provide representation for the unit, college and university in regards to anatomy and help departments in accreditation. The person chosen for this position will participate in scholarship activities to include research, presentations, and publications and also participate in service to the institution, college and department by serving on committees at all levels.

Administrative Duties - 30

Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in the area of Human Anatomy or a related area from an institution
recognized as being regionally accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.
Preferred Experience
Experience providing instruction to students of professional programs in allied health is desired.
All candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review. For specific positions, the final candidate may be subject to a (pre-employment) physical, drug screen, and/or credit check.
The final candidate will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree(s) as well as post-secondary coursework in the form of original transcript(s). Those candidates trained by a foreign institution will also be required to provide an educational/credential evaluation.
