This is a 12-month non-tenure earning position at the rank of Teaching Faculty I, responsible for teaching coursework in the Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts programs. The successful candidate will be able to develop curricula and teach courses in entrepreneurial initiatives related to the motion picture and entertainment industries. Typical responsibilities include teaching 1-2 courses per semester, mentoring and advising students, and contributing to curriculum/program development, including serving on committees, research industry trends, and advising on classroom tools and technology.
Bachelor's degree of Fine Arts Film Production or Writing and six years of experience;or Master's of Fine Arts Film Production or Writing and four years of experience.
The candidate will have at least six years of industry experience in producing, marketing, post and preproduction, cinematography, videography and project development.
Classroom experience in teaching above named subjects.
