Description:

The Mathematics Department at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville seeks exceptional candidates to fill a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in the area of Topology, starting August 1, 2022.


Qualifications:

A PhD or equivalent degree in mathematics or statistics is required. Postdoctoral experience is preferred. Primary consideration will be given to candidates whose interests overlap with those of existing faculty, including Differential Geometry and Topological Data Analysis. Evidence of potential for excellence in research and high-quality teaching is required. The Knoxville campus of the University of Tennessee is seeking candidates who have the ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the diversity and intercultural goals of the University.
