Job Description:

The Department of Orthopaedics is seeking an individual to fulfill the responsibilities of Facility Liaison.
This is a great opportunity to begin your career with the University of Florida. Work hours will be as determined by the needs of the department and assigned by supervisor.

The responsibilities of this position will include the below but they are not all-inclusive nor do they cover the full extent of the duties performed.

  • Performs routine checks through the Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine building to assess maintenance and disposal needs.
  • Coordinate related maintenance services with appropriate physical plant departments or outside organizations including, but not limited to, housekeeping, heating-ventilation-air conditioning, structural, grounds, and cosmetic repairs, and maintenance of safety features.
  • Moves furniture and heavy equipment as needed.
Expected Salary:

Beginning salary will be $12- $15 per hour, commensurate with experience

Minimum Requirements:

Completion of 9th grade.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of HS diploma. Applicants must be able to lift more than 50 pounds.
