The Tulane University Department of Philosophy and Murphy Institute of Political Economy seek to hire a tenure-line faculty member with area of specialization in ethics or political philosophy to add to our growing strength in moral and political philosophy, and in interdisciplinary research. The search is open rank and the appointment will be 50% in philosophy and 50% in the Murphy Institute. This is a joint position which includes being the Director of the Murphy Institute's Center for Ethics and Public Affairs, which supports many lectures, seminars, and conferences, along with faculty fellowships each year.

Ph.D in Philosophy or related discipline.
