Position Summary:

The Academic Affairs Department Coordinator provides essential support to the Clinical Psychology and Academic Affairs Departments in Washington, D.C. Through information and data collection, report creation and dissemination, this position will provide essential support to success of this dynamic institution. The Academic Affairs Department Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating projects as assigned by the Academic Affairs Manager.

The ideal candidate must have a strong office administrative background with experience in expense tracking, reporting, and Excel workbook creation and maintenance. Effective communication, interpersonal skills and data management experience are essential.

Principal Duties:

  • Aid the Academic Affairs Manager in maintaining functions and processes of academic departments across the DC Campus, primarily the Clinical Psychology department.
  • Maintain a variety of electronic files and databases for the purpose of providing up-to-date information and historical reference across divisions.
  • Process payment requests and track division expenses
  • Assist with data collection and analysis, report writing and planning for institutional and programmatic accreditation.
  • Manage and compile monthly update reports from academic units.
  • Provide administrative support to the Department Chairs when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

  • An earned BA/BS from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Prior experience in business administration with a focus on expense tracking and reporting
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office and a familiarity with databases and learning management systems
  • Experience in data management required
  • Previous experience in accreditation processes recommended
  • Self-motivator with little supervision needed
  • Discretion in dealing with confidential information
  • Organized with an attention to detail
