Position: Assistant Professor of Higher Education Administration (Tenure Track)

The Department of Educational Leadership, Policy, and Technology Studies at the University of Alabama invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Higher Education Administration with a preferred focus on student affairs/student success or higher education finance. The Higher Education Administration program houses a highly successful Executive Ed.D. program and online Master’s program to go along with more traditional Ph.D., Ed.D., and M.Ed. on campus offerings. A successful candidate will join our cadre of active research and teaching faculty as well as a vibrant student community. Minimum Qualifications:

• Earned doctorate in higher education administration, or a closely related field, from an accredited university
• Qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods, or other pertinent methodological expertise
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service
• Active participation in relevant professional organizations
• Ability and willingness to collaborate with colleagues
• Ability to direct doctoral dissertations
• Ability to teach at the graduate level
• Evidence of a clear research agenda and productivity
