Job Details
Requires highly analytical, technical and detailed oriented skills. The individual in this position is the primary point of contact for the Velocity Center’s makerspace educational programming. The Director represents the Department to the community and develops, plans, organizes and manages programs, courses and services for adults and youth. The director establishes relationships with local community organizations to ensure needs are being met and to launch and manage successful programs. He/she is responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining a qualified instructor base of part-time instructors and/or highly qualified volunteers necessary to deliver high quality technical training programs. Professional development, evaluation of staff and programs, management of related budgets.
The work schedule for this position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexibility is required.
