Description:

The Tulane Center for Biomedical Informatics and Genomics is hiring a postdoc in analytical chemistry. The main duties of the postdoc are to develop methods for mass spectrometry-based bottom-up and top-down proteomics, collaborate with other researchers to carry out proteomics studies of biological samples, analyze mass spectrometry data, and assist with the implementation of research plans. 

The postdoc will work with Dr. Xiaowen Liu (https://www.liuxlab.org), who is an expert in mass spectrometry and has published more than 60 papers in this area. Dr. Liu's lab has an Oribtrap  Fusion Lumos mass spectrometer. 


Qualifications:

1.  A Ph.D. in analytical chemistry or other related areas.

2. Publications in the field of analytical chemistry research.
