The postdoc will work for the Tulane Center for Biomedical Informatics and Genomics, which is part of the John W. Deming Department of Medicine. The main duties are to develop mass spectrometry-based methods for top-down proteomics and other proteomics applications. bioinformatics and to provide intellectual and technical support for other research projects executed at the Center. The postdoc will also participate in other general duties associated with a research lab, such as participation in academic publications and presentations, guidance to staff and students, etc.Qualifications:
1. A Ph.D. /M.D. in analytical chemistry or other related areas.
2. Publications in the field of analytical chemistry research. Application Instructions:
