Husson University (www.husson.edu), a private university in Bangor, Maine is accepting nominations and applications for the position of Vice President for Finance and Administration.

Reporting to the President and serving on his Cabinet, the Vice President for Finance and Administration assumes general responsibilities for the leadership, strategic planning and management of the University's financial and accounting affairs, technology services, safety & security, and auxiliary operations. Serving as Treasurer of the University, and in that capacity as a corporate officer, the Vice President for Finance and Administration operates in a fiduciary and advisory role for the Retirement Plan.

Since its founding in 1898, Husson University has transformed students' lives by inspiring and preparing students for professional careers as part of an education informed by the sciences and humanities. Boasting an enrollment of almost 3,000 undergraduate students and about 800 more enrolled in graduate programs, the University offer 70 undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees as well as a wide range of certificate programs. The selected candidate will have a Master's degree (CPA/CMA preferred), a minimum of seven (7) years of senior level experience as a financial and administrative executive, experience managing large budgets and portfolios, proven strategic leadership experience, higher education experience and experience with grant and federal funding is preferred.
