Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Collections Coordinator, Boca Raton, FL.
Summary of Responsibilities Include:
Drives results of collections and identifies systemic and non-systemic issues affection organizational accounts receivables.
Manages collections process- placement, payments and return of accounts.
Identifies additional process improvement opportunities and assists in the redesign of those processes.
Receives and reconciles billing and service-related complaints.
Liaises with various areas including Account Receivable to resolve outstanding queries.
Remains appraised of CFPB regulations to ensure compliance.
Researches discrepancies – may involve in-depth understanding of customer account history and past practices.
Interacts with internal and external customers and assist with customer service during peak times.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to success in this position.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Must also have excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills.Salary:
