8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Monday – Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required in conjunction with athletic event schedules. Primary Purpose of Position:
This position serves as the Associate Director of Athletic Facilities and Events Operations with responsibility for oversight of all facility preventive maintenance matters associated with the Jerry Richardson Stadium Complex and Halton Wagner Tennis Facility including supervisory responsibility for maintenance and set-up staff. Additionally, this position provides on-going maintenance of the Athletic department’s motor fleet. Serves as a liaison between Athletics and Facilities Maintenance shops and/or grounds (playing fields). Attends design/construction meetings for Athletics Facilities Master Plan.Minimum Education/Experience:

University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or equivalent and two years experience. Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the position’s role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
· Oversees all facility maintenance issues in Jerry Richardson Stadium Complex and Halton Wagner Tennis Facility;· Oversees athletic department BES staff and Maintenance Tech;· Oversee/Assist with department informal projects;· In conjunction with Director of Athletic Facilities and Events and Assistant Director of Athletic Facility and Events, coordinate maintenance in all athletic controlled spaces;· Liaison between athletics and campus FM shops and grounds (playing fields);· Responsible for all facility setups in Jerry Richardson Stadium Complex;· In conjunction with Director of Athletic Facilities and Event Operations will order all supplies necessary for athletic events, in particular football and Jerry Richardson Stadium Events;· Oversees maintenance athletic department motor fleet; and· Assist Associate Athletic Director of Facilities and Events in developing preventative maintenance plans for athletic facilities. Other Work Responsibilities:
Serves as Manager on Duty of certain athletic events during cross over season.
Oversee maintenance of athletic department motor fleet. Develop preventative maintenance plans for athletic facilities. Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Previous experience in facility maintenance and operations, preferably athletic facility maintenance. Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general construction knowledge. Necessary Licenses or Certifications:
