Work Schedule:

Student can work up to 10hrs a week. This will depend on the number of multimedia requests within the division. Our office hours are Mondays to Thursdays 8am to 6pm and Fridays 8am to 5pm.

This position will work a hybrid of on campus work and remote work.

Job Description Summary:

- Create content for website, social media, brochures, flyers, digital advertisements, and press releases for the Student Affairs division
- Capture, record, stream and edit videos for events. Develop multimedia (audio/video) content for promo videos and digital library. Maintain a digital catalog for the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership
- Collaborate with various departments on aspects of multimedia projects including planning, content production, corrections, and meet deadlines
-Use typography, photography, photo manipulation, video, and other elements to create a cohesive branding image
-Research current digital media trends
-Assist the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership front desk with their marketing efforts, such as Instagram/Facebook content and posting calendar
-Other duties as assigned

Specific Duties:

This position is for the academic year. The anticipated start date is sometime in mid-October.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Meet and maintain a 2.5 GPA for the semester and cumulative
-Highly proficient in MS Suite, G Suite, Adobe Suite, photo editing software, and related applications

Benefits Summary:

Employees are eligible for the following benefits:

One hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours worked, with a maximum accrual of 24 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year and capped at 48 hours.

University of La Verne Defined Contribution Retirement Plan – can contribute employee voluntary contributions, excluding wages derived from federal work study funds.

In accordance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), employees who work an average of 30 or more hours per week, will be eligible for medical coverage through the University of La Verne.

Covered under the University of La Verne Workers Compensation Insurance.
