Seeking applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Allergy and Immunology, within the Department of Internal Medicine, School of Medicine at Saint Louis University.

The Division leads the Center for Vaccine Development (CVD) at Saint Louis University which has received significant funding for preclinical and clinical research, including 30 years of NIH funding as a Vaccine and Treatment Evaluation Unit. We are seeking candidates that will develop new strengths or provide additional capacity for ongoing activities in basic, translational and/or clinical research. Responsibilities for the first three years on faculty will include 80% protected time for research with mentorship, collaborations, and startup funding geared toward the development of successful independent investigators. The remaining 20% effort will be devoted to patient care and teaching in Infectious Disease.

Requirements: MD or MD/PhD with clinical and research expertise in infectious diseases, immunology, and/or vaccinology. Candidates completing ID fellowship and will be board eligible, as well as junior faculty members at other academic institutions, are encouraged to apply.
