The Director of Campus Visitation is essential to showcasing the University to perspective students (FTIC, transfer, and graduate students). This position oversees the perspective student experience, the coordination and planning of all on campus events hosted by the Office of Admission including daily campus visitors, shadow visits, Experience Stetson open house, scholarships competitions, Hatter Saturday, guidance counselors’ events, transfer students’ events, graduate student events, etc. As the Director of Admissions - Campus Visitation, the incumbent will also lead the student ambassador and tele-center teams and helps as needed with other recruitment needs.

A self-motivated, enthusiastic, goal-oriented individual with superior presentation, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills and will have demonstrated ability to follow direction, problem solve, manage multiple priorities, and meet goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Planning, creating, and implementing all programming for perspective students (FTIC, Transfer, and Graduate) and their families through the campus tour experience
• Supervise the Welcome Center receptionist
• Manage campus visitation budget
• Manage student ambassador and tele-center team
• Availability for evening and weekend work, extensive phone use and telemarketing, and directive counseling for individuals and groups
• Must become knowledgeable about all aspects of Stetson University including academic programs, campus events and activities, orientation, athletics, housing, financial aid, billing, college policy, and important dates
• Strong multi-tasking, creativity, and critical thinking abilities
• Strong organizational skills for coordination of programs, projects, and volunteers
• Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with diverse populations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Thrives in a tight-knit high-energy office and is eager to learn about all aspects of the enrollment management process
• Performs other site and position specific functions as assigned

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required or 5-7 years of progressive experience in admission leadership
• Experience in recruitment, marketing, event planning, and other business-like environments is preferred

Salary Grade: 8

Completed COVID-19 Vaccine status required
