The Office of Global Engagement seeks applicants for the Director of International Affairs and Outreach.

The International Affairs and Outreach position will support UIC’s internationalization strategy, spearheaded by the Office of Global Engagement (OGE), by managing the campus review of proposed and renewing international collaborations with universities and organizations under the UIC International Collaborations Policy and applicable governmental regulations. Additional duties include coordinating the University’s efforts with strategic partners, and promoting awareness and interest in international affiliations and partners. The position also supports international delegations and visitors to UIC, the U.S. Department of State’s “Diplomat in Residence” program, OGE’s cooperation, fundraising and stewardship with the Chicago Consular Corps, and maintaining the University’s relationships with international agencies and organizations such as the Fulbright Commission and the Institute for International Education.
