Job Summary
The Department of University Information and Technology Services at Columbus State University invites applications for an IT Project Manager. This position will work with and support the Director of Program and Project Management for the overall project management function, coordination, and management of project management policies, processes, functions, methodology, and training for the UITS department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: planning, coordinating, supporting and executing IT projects for campus; overseeing the delegation of assigning individual responsibilities and develops and manages project schedules to ensure timely completion of a project; developing detailed project plans and schedules, and status reports; developing project deliverables, and project tracking and analysis; identifying project scope, objectives, and project successes; managing projects from planning through final implementation; providing guidance to stakeholders and the project team - makes recommendations and takes action to resolve any problems; managing client expectations and collaborating with clients to acquire needed information and direction on projects; managing the planning, development, and implementation of projects; analyzing business needs and works with stakeholders to propose and deliver cost-effective solutions; ensuring project requirements are achieved in high quality and timely fashion within budget guidelines; maintaining issue logs, risks, and change management requests and provides details to management as needed; and all other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (BS) from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field of study; and five (5) years of progressive experience in Project Management and Business Analysis. The successful candidate must possess a demonstrated knowledge in project planning skills with working knowledge of project management methodology and software; knowledge and understanding of the university's organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures; current and developing information technology services requirements in a large educational institution; strong cross-group negotiation, conflict management skills, and the ability to make decisions and think independently; the ability to communicate project management and business analysis related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical employees; strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills; the ability to work effectively in a professional manner with technology staff, business stakeholders, end-users, all levels of management, and others outside the organization; and experience in creating and leading cross-functional project teams.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include possession of the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Proposed Salary
The annualized salary range for this position is $43,503 - $48,941 and includes full benefits.
