Under the supervision of the dean, the program director is responsible for the daily operations of the assigned instructional program(s). The coordinator is responsible for teaching courses, designing and developing curriculum, evaluating adjunct personnel and student performance. Responsibilities also include, advising students, accreditation management, and program budgeting, Teaching assignments may include day or evening courses on campus.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a bachelor’s degree or an associate degree in a related field or discipline plus documented ACR/HVAC training through formal education or military provider. A minimum of five (5) years of full-time related work experience in ACR/HVAC is also required. Candidates not possessing an associate degree and able to complete by August 30th, 2022 will be considered.
Teaching experience at the college level is preferred. A working knowledge of Microsoft’s Office Suite (Word and Excel) is also required. Candidate must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology.
