Inspect, review and analyze Institute facilities, plans, programs and operations for physical security needs. Develop plans and recommendations of systems, facility modifications and procedures to enhance the physical security of Institute faculties, programs and operations.
Job Duty 1 -
Manage daily Security Card Access System.
Job Duty 2 -
Develop recommendations for facility modifications to incorporate security systems, to include SCAS, burglar alarms, CCTV, and communications to enhance the physical security of facilities.
Job Duty 3 -
Conduct detailed inspections of Institute facilities and programs for physical security needs.
Job Duty 4 -
Review architectural drawings and designs for new and renovated buildings for security needs.
Job Duty 5 -
Conduct special security studies, as needed.
Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Other Required Qualifications
The job requires one who is task and detail yearsihreeted; flexible, and able to perfyearsm multiple, various tasks concurrhreetly. Excellhreet communications skills are required as well as the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems that are varied ur nature.
Four to six years of job related experience
Three years of experience in a university environment
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
computer proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint; excellent interpersonal skills
