The MGH Institute of Health Professions School of Nursing invites applications for a full time (12 month) Psychiatric Mental Health faculty position. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to teach their area of expertise in our prelicensure programs and Master of Science in Nursing program, psychiatric-mental health NP track.
We are interested in faculty with a diversity of experience, thought and practice to the Institute’s research, teaching and clinical missions and who have a strong interest in educational excellence and innovation to prepare nurses for the healthcare workforce. Candidates with a doctoral degree in nursing or related field, prior teaching experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing and active in research and/or clinical practice is preferred. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in Massachusetts. Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist is a plus. Exceptional applicants with a master’s degree in nursing and 3-5 years of psychiatric mental health nursing will be considered. Additionally, candidates must possess a commitment to scholarship and must demonstrate excellent technological, interpersonal and collaborative skills.Applications
