Required Qualifications Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and seven years of professional or administrative experience to include a minimum of four years of education program or similar experienceORHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and ten years of professional or administrative experience to include a minimum of six years of educational program or similar experience.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ability to learn PeopleSoft, multi-task and work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiar with ACGME policies for Internal Medicine.
Responsibilities The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Resident Scheduling Coordinator: 77 Residents
    • Prepare selective/elective rotations for each block
    • Input resident schedules in One 45
    • Update on call schedule
    • Assist with 4+2 schedule for 74 residents
    • Track resident attendance and clinic counts towards graduation
    • Create Clinic Templates
    • Send out notifications to each resident/division
    • Complete quicklook for all blocks
  • Empanelment Coordinator:
    • Responsible for working with CMIO to pull resident empanelment lists
    • Work with each resident to ensure accuracy
    • Work with population health team for pcp match with insurance
    • Responsible for transferring resident patient each year
    • Management of 3900 patients (tracking assigned)
    • Track clinic counts
    • Create, review and submit clinic patient reports to administration & residents for review and editing
  • General:
    • Answers phones
    • Maintains an Address/phone roster for 74 residents
    • Provide back up to other areas to include: GIM, Clerkship & Rheumatology
    • Responsible for website updates, departmental communication
    • Maintain office files & electronic files
    • Provide back up to Residency Coordinator
    • Provide support to Residency Director, Associate Directors & Business Manager
    • Provide assistance to Residency Coordinator & 3 Chief Residents
    • Complete travel
    • Upload D2L lectures
    • Yale Curriculum
  • Credentialing Coordinator & Elective Management:
    • Review & monitor all credentialing for all past/present residents
    • Coordinate all elective rotaitons for 77 residents
  • Recruitment Coordination:
    • Work with programs (anesthesia, dermatology, ophthalmology) to schedule prelim interviews
    • Schedule interview dates and coordination of interviews
    • Prelim applications in ERAS
    • Ranking powerpoint
  • Financial:
    • IDRs/Check Requests
    • VA Billing
    • Track expenses
  • All other related duties/tasks as assigned.
Job Summary The purpose of this position is to provide specialized support to the Dept. of Intrenal Medicne Residencey Program. This position works in concert with the Residency Program Coordinator and the Residency Program Director in the day-to-day management of the program to include residency scheduling management, empanelment management, credentialing coordinator as well as responsible for management of internal medicine prelimnary recruitment, resident recruitment (including travel), resident orientation and monitoring of resident educational experiences. Shift/Salary Shift: Mon-Fri / Days Pay Grade: 13 Salary: $16.19/hr - $17.74/hr Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position Recruitment Period: 9/17/2021 - Until FilledConditions of Employment All candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review prior to starting with Augusta University.
