Description
 The College of Education is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator for our National Board Teacher Support Program, which is funded by the William Penn Foundation for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 academic years. The incumbent will oversee our project, including advertising the program to the School District of Philadelphia and surrounding districts, recruiting teacher candidates and mentors, training mentors, running a series of workshops throughout the academic year, coordinating mentor-mentee pairing, supporting candidates as they prepare their materials, collaborating with the National Board to arrange payments, and collaborating with our partners in the School District and the teacher’s union. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
 Bachelor’s Degree and at least two years of PK-12 classroom teaching experience.The successful candidate must be a National Board-Certified Teacher or have extensive experience with the process. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 

Required Skills & Abilities:
* Working knowledge of recruiting Philadelphia School District teachers and teacher from surrounding districts to pursue National Board Certification and participate in the TSP
* Ability to mento teachers
* Thorough understanding of the National Board Teacher Support Program
