Fundamentals of Financial Planning
Risk Management and Insurance Planning
Investment Planning
Income Tax Planning
Employee Benefits and Retirement Planning
Estate Planning
Certified Financial Planner Capstone Case Applications

All classes are 12 sessions and 42 hours except for H4140: Capstone class as this is 15 sessions and 45 hours. Classes typically take place on weekday (Monday-Thursday) evenings starting at approximately 6:00 p.m. or on Saturdays starting at 9:00 a.m. Instructors are required to prepare and implement lessons based on program topic areas and provide copies of syllabus, lesson plans .
Qualifications:Completion of CFP Board-approved course work and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university.
Experience in financial planning for individuals and families.
Knowledge of, but not limited to, financial planning services that include retirement, investment, education, insurance, debt management, employee benefits, estate planning, tax strategies and regulatory compliance.
Industry certifications, such as but not limited to, CFP®, CPRC®, CFP teaching certificate, Certified Financial Planner™, Charter Retirement Planning Counselor?
Insurance licenses, such as but not limited to, Life & Accident Insurance Licenses, Life, Accident & Health, Variable Life/Variable Annuities, Certified Public Accountant, Series 6, 7, 63 and 66 security licenses (for example).
