Position Summary:

This position is responsible for independently managing all processes associated with women’s basketball, baseball and other sports as assigned. This position will oversee settlement of daily financial transactions and work as a liaison between Ticket Operations and the Business Office. Additionally, this position is responsible for answering phone calls, assisting drop-in customers at the Butts/Mehre ticket window, and correspondence with current and prospective ticket holders. Assisting the superiors with various projects including, but not limited to, season ticket assignments, fulfilling ticket requests, and mailing ticket orders. Assist in supervision and instruction of ticket office, part-time, interns and student employees. Additional responsibilities will include Paciolan ticketing system proficiency, customer record confidentiality, familiarity with athletic venues and parking regulations, and StubHub integration.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:

High level of communication and customer service skills. A person in this position oversees Player/Guest and Prospective Student Athlete (Recruiting) ticket registration and distribution for all sports. They will work closely with compliance office representatives and the director of operations for respective sports. Ability to work UGA campus constituents for planning and execution of student ticketing. Knowledge of ticket office functions such as season ticket renewal and distribution process for all ticketed sports. Excellent computer skills including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and work cooperatively. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Independent thinker, self-motivated, and accustomed to high volume, fast-paced, detail-oriented work environment.

Physical Demands:

Stand; walk; use hands and reach with arms. Sit and talk or hear. Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Close and distance vision, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but escalates to high during athletic competitions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Coordinate season setup, ticket allocation, and event preparation for women’s basketball, baseball, and other sports as needed. Includes postseason events which include traveling. Execute player/guest ticketing (Neulion) and recruiting ticketing (Frontrush) process for women’s basketball, baseball and other sports as needed. Oversee Ballena Technologies software management and application for select sport ticket and parking allocations.

Oversee the daily reconciliation and settlement for all office financial transactions. Communicate available inventory and sales strategies with IMG Learfield outbound sales group.

Perform customer service tasks including answering inbound phone calls, placing outbound phone calls, directing person-to-person window transactions, and occasional email correspondence.as well as ticket fulfillment, distribution and delivery.
