Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college in Nursing and two years of professional experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required. One year of nursing experience must be in an administrative or supervisory capacity. Other requirements include: current licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing; current licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing; current certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP); and current Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Professional Rescuer certification by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
