Job Summary
Join the full-time academic faculty in the Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention, a collegial team in a dynamic mid-sized academic department. Robust sports medicine (including most Denver-area professional and college teams), nationally-regarded limb reconstruction, spine surgery, oncologic, and physical medicine/rehabilitation practices provide a stimulating clinical environment. Innovative teaching resources and a collaborative research environment provide opportunity for academic growth. The School of Medicine is located on the growing Anschutz Medical Campus at the base of the Rocky Mountains.

Duties

Interpretation responsibilities include fellowship-level MRI/CT, ultrasound, and radiographs.

CU MSK has a strong procedural history, but there is space for differing levels of interest. Experience in standard interventional MSK procedures such as CT-guided biopsy, joint injection/aspiration, and spine injections is necessary. US guided procedural skills are encouraged. Advanced interventional skills including kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty and tumor ablation are not required, but opportunities are available to participate with our advanced procedures team. The section employs a full-time physician assistant who contributes to managing the procedural workload.

The division supports a fellowship with two fellows and teaches over 40 residents who regularly consider MSK fellowship and participate in research.

Clinical duties are based at the main hospital campus with occasional off-site duties.  All faculty members are supplied with at-home workstations for work from home opportunities and remote conferences.
