Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Collections Management Student Assistant, Boca Raton, FL.
The Collections Management Student Assistant in the Collection Management Department will have the following duties related to gifts, electronic resources, acquisitions, and collection development. Training provided for all duties.
Summary of Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare portfolio loader spreadsheets.
- clean up links in Library Guides.
- discard boxes of donated materials that are in poor condition (must be able to lift boxes of books).
- review gift material for processing: search catalog, discard unwanted items.
- scan paperwork from past purchases/subscriptions into digital format.
- assist in the deselection of print serials and monographs.
Degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.0 GPA.Salary:
