CHEMISTRY/STEM INSTRUCTOR

Academic, Tenure-track, Full-Time, 10-months, $61,849 - $110,330/ annually

Under general supervision of the Chief Instructional Officer (CIO) and within the Liberal Arts and Sciences Division, the chemistry/Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) instructor will teach lower division chemistry courses, including the laboratories.  Additionally, the College seeks an instructor who can teach beyond the discipline of chemistry, preferably in an additional STEM discipline such as the biological sciences or mathematics. Completion of the following: Master's in chemistry OR Bachelor's in chemistry or biochemistry AND Master's in biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical physics, physics, molecular biology or geochemistry, OR the equivalent. Ability to establish equivalency in an additional STEM discipline, preferably biological sciences or mathematics.
