Job Summary:

  • The College of Professional Programs at Eastern Washington University is currently seeking applicants for a Coordinator Undergraduate/Graduate Services. This position will provide oversight and coordination for undergraduate and graduate retention and recruitment activities within the College of Professional Programs (CPP). The position will report to the College Administrative Specialist and will provide support to the Dean, Associate Dean, College Finance Officer, and the College Administrative Specialist.

  • The position will serve as a resource in conjunction with College Office personnel, departments, and programs on the development of integrated marketing retention and recruitment plans. The position will work closely with other college Undergraduate/Graduate Services Administrators, college advisors on student retention, recruitment, and community outreach efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge and/or experience working in higher education.
  • Experience in event support and social media maintenance
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage several projects at once.
  • Must have transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Demonstrated ability to apply a culturally responsive and flexible approach that is supportive to the diverse needs, including universal accessibility, of our students, faculty, staff, and the public.

  • Develop and implement retention and student services plan for the College, review and adjust as necessary.
  • Research, collect and analyze data and other information of College enrollment numbers and prepare reports for trends in student retention.
  • Assist with retention programs such as Study Abroad, College in the High School and Running Start.
  • Work with key personnel to develop and implement a marketing and retention plan for College programs.
  • Coordinate and assist in implementation of the mission and goals of the CSS Student Advisory Board.
  • Support Advising and Retention with programs such as the Early Warning System, Minor Navigate Assistance, Probation and reinstatement, Major Ready Transition Support etc.

  • Schedule recruitment, admission and advertisement meetings and/or workshops.
  • Work with EWU Office of Admissions and on meetings and events with high school counselors and community colleges.
  • Assist CPP college advisors on recruitment events and specialized programs such as Finish in 3 and transfer programs.
  • Lead coordinator of New Student Orientation events, Admitted Student Days and other scheduled events involving prospective or incoming students.
  • Co-direct the work of the CPP Student Ambassadors.
  • Coordinate and implement the mission and goals of the CPP Student Ambassador program.

  • Assist College Administrative Specialist in marketing the College by assisting in maintaining College web site, social media sites, and the annual report.

  • Assist College Administrative Specialist with events including but not limited to Commencement, Retreats, Award Ceremony, and College Speaker Series.
