Description:

Reporting to the Director of Contract Administration, the Contract Administrator will be responsible for reviewing, processing and tracking contracts, reviewing Insurance and other provisions contained in contracts, maintaining the Office of Financial Affairs web pages and providing support to departmental Directors as needed.

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

• Support all functions of the Office of Contract Administration, including reviewing, processing and tracking standard contracts.

• Maintain and update various reports for contracts ensuring information is accurate and complete.

• Review Insurance and other provisions to ensure compliance with University policies, procedures and contract requirements.

• Communicate and follow up with University departments regarding contract, insurance and other issues.

• Route executed contracts and other documents appropriately.

• Review and process non-standard agreements as directed.

• Maintain the Office of Financial Affairs web pages, ensuring web page content, including the design and layout, is up to date.

• Process requests for various tax forms.

• Assist with office administrative duties.

• Assist with the review and documentation of internal processes and procedures. Recommend process improvements as appropriate.

• Assists with and provides input regarding system improvement.

• Uses independent judgement to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.

• Provides support to department Directors as needed.

• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.

• A minimum of one year work related experience preferably working with contracts.

• Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, technical skills.

• Superb attention to detail and the ability to work independently on several matters simultaneously.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook required.

• Notary public license and/or Paralegal preferred.
