POSITION SUMMARYProcess and reconcile a wide variety of accounting and financial transactions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset entries, employee petty cash reimbursements, student club activity, etc. Complete the college wide deposit and all related deposit and payment posting activities. - Prepare and process financial transactions (e.g., journal & budget entries, fixed assets, cashiering, billings, etc.).Coordinate activities for the college wide bank deposit and system entry, including researching and reconciling discrepancies, and processing and posting entries into the bank and the general ledger.
- Perform accounts payable duties, including overseeing the travel and expense system, training college staff in the use of invoice approving systems, software, and procedures, and preparing and submitting the annual 1099 statements.
- Support student clubs by providing financial information, preparing deposits, and processing check requests.Prepare and reconcile periodic financial reports. Provide backup support for general office duties (e.g., scanning, data entry, filing, etc.).
