General SummaryAudiology Faculty Position: The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Illinois State University invites applications for a full-time 9-month tenure track faculty position at the assistant professor level to start in August 2022. Primary responsibilities include doctoral and undergraduate instruction, scholarly research activities, supervision of Au.D. research projects, and department service. Area of specialization and expertise in Audiology is open. Ph.D. in audiology or related fields is required. A.B.D. candidates are eligible, but all degree requirements must be completed within one year following appointment. Successful candidates will show strong evidence of research activity or potential as well as an aptitude for teaching and commitment to service. Candidates who have experience working with a diverse range of faculty, staff, and students, and who can contribute to the climate of inclusivity on campus are especially welcome to apply.
Additional InformationThe Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders currently has 21 full-time academic and clinical faculty and over 200 undergraduate majors. The department's graduate programs enroll over 75 students in the master's degree program in speech language pathology, and about 30 students in the four-year Audiology clinical doctorate program.
