The postdoc will work for the Tulane Center for Biomedical Informatics and Genomics, which is part of the John W. Deming Department of Medicine. The main duties are to develop bioinformatics methods for mass spectrometry data analysis and other related applications of mass spectrometry-based proteomics and to provide intellectual and technical support for other research projects executed at the Center. The postdoc will also participate in other general duties associated with a research lab, such as participation in academic publications and presentations, guidance to staff and students, etc.Qualifications:
1. A Ph.D. /M.D. in bioinformatics, computer science, or other related areas.
2. Publications in the field of biostatistics and bioinformatics research. Application Instructions:
