The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science seeks adjunct faculty members to teach one or two sections of “Introduction to Probability & Statistics” (non-calculus based, no course prerequisites) during our Spring Term that commences January 11, 2022. The course provides instruction in elementary statistical inference procedures, uses MS excel or R-suite software, and provides an introduction to our Data Science program. Each course meets on two days each week and a student teaching assistant may be provided. A Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is required. Demonstrated excellence in teaching is strongly preferred.
