The student assistant will support the Operations Team with various projects throughout the application cycle. The student’s primary responsibility will be handling and processing all incoming mail, assisting with organizing and mailing out information packets to schools and school counselors, and alphabetizing all college and high school transcripts. The student will also help the ops team with organizing, packing, and mailing student admit packets throughout the admission cycle.
Job Responsibilities
Open, scan and date-stamp mail
Scan application documentation into the Slate database
Mail out information packets to schools and school counselors that include posters, information booklets, pennants, etc., and keep track of inventory of these materials
Alphabetize hard copies of all transcripts
Help organize, build, and mail out student admission packets
Qualifications
The position requires attention to detail, the ability to focus on the task, accuracy, reliability, good phone skills, ability to take direction well and work with minimal supervision. Accuracy is especially important. Confidentiality with sensitive and personal information is a MUST.
Computer experience: Word and Excel (necessary), PC platform preferable, and experience with databases helpful.
Experience Desired: Previous work in a team-oriented environment and strong organizational skills.
Knowledge Desired: Document imaging and good writing and phone skills.
