Located in beautiful Bangor, Maine, Husson University is a small school that makes a big impact. With 3,400 undergraduate and graduate students and an average class size of 18, Husson University prides itself on being an institution where everyone focuses on the student. Our students are more than just a number here at Husson.

We have a long-standing commitment to providing affordable and accessible education. Our faculty members are some of the leading experts in their fields. They include Fulbright scholars and numerous leaders of honorary and professional societies.

We have a strong focus on experiential learning. In fact, U.S. News & World Report ranked Husson as one of the top 10 institutions in the country for student participation in internships. (2013 and 2014)

Our warm, welcoming campus community is part of Maine’s third largest city. Bangor is located along the banks of the Penobscot River and is part of the Maine Highlands. It offers local residents the perfect balance of arts, culture, shopping, dining, and entertainment, in a town with one of the lowest urban crime rates in America. Husson is easy to access from I-95 and Bangor International Airport.

And if you love the great outdoors, Husson offers you four seasons of adventure. Acadia National Park, Baxter State Park, Moosehead Lake Region, and the Camden Hills area are all just a short drive away. Everything from a relaxing day at the beach, to a thrill-packed mountain bike ride in fall foliage, to world-class skiing, is within reach.
