Job Summary:
To assist the Senior Director withfunctions related to managing the OSU-OKC Center for Social Innovation program. Thisposition will coordinate day-to-day functions of the program including trainingand development, career path development for participants with an emphasis onworkforce development, and facilitate the creation and maintenance ofprogram-centered peer support and empowerment through workshops and groupsessions. This position will assist participants in reaching their goals inregards to personal and academic success, help them learn how to navigate andutilize campus and community resources, create and implement individualizedtraining and development plans, as well as assist in meeting overall programgoals and measured outcomes.

EssentialJob Functions:

    Assist the Senior Director with the creation, planning, and implementation of learning and development strategies for increased participant successes.
    Assist in maintaining and creating new employer partners for internship programs and workforce strategies.
    Assist the Senior Director in creating individualized Career Path Plans for each student that will outline specific academic and employment goals at each stage of development: from initial program acceptance through post program placement. Program manager will analyze student’s criminal and mental health history in conjunction with career and personal skill assessment reports, past academic accomplishments and current available certifications to develop a Career Path Plan that students can follow to meet short-term and long-term goals.
    Collaborate with recruitment, admissions, and advising to support students through recruitment and onboarding to on-time completion.
    Use advisement systems to check in with student’s academic status as well as help with program reporting throughout the year.
    Collaborate to support the development and expansion of programming that supports a model of mental and physical rehabilitation after a history of trauma and/or substance abuse.
    Marketing and communication to community partners and stakeholders.
    Assist students by connecting them with campus and community resources.
    Coordinate and facilitate interaction with and among student groups, organizations and community-based volunteer activities.
    Complete and document weekly educational and personal check-ins with each assigned student that will cover: academic status and accountability, mental and personal health, utilization of program resources and coaches, basic needs being met, etc.
    Coordinate and facilitate group activities, field trips, and events.
    Assist students with the application, enrollment and onboarding process.
    Assist in supervision all CFSI student workers including oversight of projects, time management, and timesheet approvals.
    Assist with implementation and management of internship program.
    Manage on-campus room reservation requests and off campus scheduling of activities.
    Coordinate vehicle reservations as well as other relevant transportation needs.
    Complies with all state and university policies.
    Completes all mandatory training and participates in a minimum of two professional development trainings each year.
    Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:
Bachelor’sDegree and/or equivalent experience.

WorkExperience:

    Related experience working with individuals coming from backgrounds of mental health disorders, addiction, trauma, incarceration, foster care, domestic violence, treatment centers and hospitals, or other community-based programming as well as a strong interest in providing high quality case management services.
    Experience working in higher education with a basic understanding of academic enrollment and offerings, financial aid processes, utilization of campus resources, and learning management systems.
    Experience working with community-facing service agencies.
    1-3 years’ experience in developing, coordinating, and facilitating activities and/or services and records management.
Certifications&/or Licenses:
Valid Oklahoma driver’s license

Knowledge,Skills, and Abilities:

    Ability to manage day-to-day operations and large projects with exceptional skill and autonomy.
    High degree of integrity; ability to work in a sensitive, highly confidential and professional environment.
    Strong experience working with office technologies including but not limited to: office computers, scanners, internet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cohesively with faculty, administrators, students and staff.
    Strong interpersonal skills and sensitivity to a multicultural/diverse environment in an effort to work and communicate effectively with all students, faculty, staff and community partners.
    Exhibit problem solving skills and critical thinking beyond a set of instructions and adapt to changes when necessary.
    Ability to communicate diplomatically, clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing to exchange information, give/receive instructions and respond to inquiries appropriately.
    Demonstrated ability to lead people objectively required.
    Ability to facilitate group discussions and present training to cohort.
    Ability to manage tracking systems to collect, organize and report data reflective of program metrics and outcomes.
    The ability to represent the CFSI to community partners in a way that’s reflective of program’s mission, vision, and culture.
    Passion for assisting students and representing the OSU-OKC and OSU brand with positivity and professionalism.
    Demonstrated history of ethical and professional behavior.
PreferredQualifications:

    Master’s Degree
    2 years (or more) of experience working in higher education.
    A basic understanding of the Oklahoma justice system or the barriers faced by people coming out of incarceration.
    Experience progressing diverse audiences toward defined outcomes.
    Experience working with and managing groups, clubs, and organizations toward defined outcomes.
    Understanding of how metrics are used to assess and evaluate program performance.
    Understanding of adult learning styles and life cycles.
WorkingConditions:

    Work will be performed in an office environment with a significant amount of public contact, in person, by telephone, via email, and various communication platforms.
    In-state travel to include exposure to outside conditions as relates to program cultural events and activities. Occasional overnight stay may be required.
    Occasional out-of-state travel for trainings.
    Occasional evening and/or weekendhours may be required.
Physical Requirements:

    Duties require extended periods of sitting, talking and listening.
    Duties require extensive use of computers, telephone and other office equipment.
    Requires possible lifting of up to 25 lbs (if an object weighs more than 45 pounds, OSU-Oklahoma City requires this to be a two person lift.)
